Classic Literature

Never underestimate the classics. These books are in the category they are for a good reason, and that is because they are fantastic and have managed to break the barrier of time. There is much to learn from them, from the author's writing style to the customs and traditions of the era in which they were conceived. Although I have transferred many of the classics to e-books,I find books that talk about customs and gossip in the courts or tea rooms from the 18th and 19th centuries more irresistible than the best wine. Although I can't say that I mind appreciating a good sword fight.

Gothic Horror, Mistery & Thriller

I think it was unthinkable to have my own library without having a space reserved for horror. And how can I ignore it when it is one of the most primitive sensations of the human being? I am a fan of gothic horror, the kind that is found in an abandoned house, in the middle of a forest, on a lonely street surrounded by fog, with indescribable creatures lurking in the darkness. This shelf is also home to masters like Lovecraft, Poe, King and Rice.

Young Adult Literature and Paranormal Romance

Unlike many people, I don't hate young adult literature. It's true that sometimes the quality is questionable, but I still think they are perfect books to relax a bit. I'm a huge fan of vampires, so when they became popular thanks to Twilight and the invasion of paranormal romances and adventures with bloodsuckers took place, I think my impression was like seeing a giant chocolate cake, it was a delight for the soul. They may not contribute much according to some elitists, but as I said, they make my soul very happy.

This shelf houses all the books aimed at a young audience. There's plenty of paranormal romance, creature-fighting adventures, and the occasional college drama.
